HOUSTON, TEXAS, SEP 15, 2008 -- Houston-based Access MediQuip announced the successful implementation of its emergency response plan after Hurricane Ike forced the temporary closure of its Houston office. The company's support to patients and customers continues uninterrupted, following the company's transition of operations to its secondary service center in Orlando, Florida.

Access MediQuip also provided support to the Houston community by transporting emergency supplies via a Care Flight last night, after the West Houston airport re-opened.
