Tim Hargarten, Chief Executive Officer - Tim was appointed chief executive officer of Access MediQuip in 2009 to lead the company’s next phase of growth and expansion. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Tim has an exceptional track record of building innovative healthcare businesses. Previously the Chairman and CEO of NaviMedix, Inc., Tim grew the company to become the largest provider of real-time administrative, clinical and financial capabilities to the U.S. health system. Prior to NaviMedix, Tim served as CEO of Kinetra, LLC, a joint venture between Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Eli Lilly, where he helped the company create one of the industry’s first portals linking hospitals, insurance companies, physicians and pharmaceutical benefit managers. Tim received a BS in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Cornell University.
William H. Elliott, President & Chief Operating Officer - Bill brings over 25 years of Senior Management, Operations and IT experience in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Process Manufacturing and Distribution Industries to Access MediQuip where he is responsible for leading the companies finance, human resources, marketing, operating, product development and technology teams and ensuring that Access MediQuip can meet the needs of our customers and the demands of our rapidly growing business. Prior to his arrival at Access, Bill served as Chief Operating Officer of Fertility Centers of New England, a national leader in the treatment of Infertility. From 2001 to 2005 he was Senior Vice President of Information Management & Technology and Vice President of Operations for Priority Healthcare Corporation, a leading specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution company acquired by Express Scripts. Bill earned a BA in Biology from Merrimack College, a Graduate Degree in Management from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire University.
Bill Cramer, Founder & Vice Chairman - Bill Cramer co-founded Access MediQuip in 1997 to enable ambulatory surgery centers to perform procedures that had historically been cost prohibitive, directly impacting the cost of care. Bill developed the business model which serves as the foundation for the company's current portfolio of strategic medical device solutions and continues his involvement in planning for the company's strategic growth. Bill serves as Vice Chairman of the board, focusing his time and energy on strategic relationships and government affairs. Bill has over 20 years of healthcare experience in the hospital, pain management and device manufacturing sectors. Bill received his B.S.B.A. in marketing from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Gus Tschaar, Executive Vice President & Co-founder - Gus earned his primary healthcare market experience by working as a medical device sales representative. During his tenure in medical device sales, Gus developed and managed key alliances with hospital groups, GPO's, medical device distributors, health care facility executives and physicians. As a co-founder of Access MediQuip Gus was able to leverage that foundation of medical device experience from a more comprehensive perspective which gives him a truly unique understanding of the marketplace. In addition to being a member of the board of directors, Gus’ current role focuses on strategic initiatives, network development and maintaining/developing key client relationships. Gus has a bachelor’s degree in international trade from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Carmen Fontanez, Executive Vice President, Chief Client Officer - As the leader of Access MediQuip’s client services organization, Carmen is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and measurable value to hundreds of Access MediQuip’s health plan customers. across the country. Carmen brings to Access MediQuip more than 15 years of experience selling and managing therapies for national healthcare clients. Prior to joining Access MediQuip, she was Vice President of Account Management for the Managed Care Division at Express Scripts; managing over 20 million managed care lives with direct responsibility for key accounts over 1.5 million lives. Carmen also was Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management for CuraScript Pharmacy, Inc., an Express-Scripts Company. There, she directed contracting and re-contracting efforts for more than 500 payer clients. Carmen holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and master's degree in science from the University Of Illinois, Chicago.
Jon Hamrick, Executive Vice President, Business Development - Jon leads Access MediQuip’s business development efforts focusing on manufacturer relationships and corporate development. He reports to the CEO and plays an instrumental role in the progression of our business model. Previously, Jon was executive vice-president of sales and marketing responsible for the payer and facility focused sales and marketing functions of the business. Jon joined Access in 2006 and has extensive leadership experience in sales, account management, and business development in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and distribution industries. Before joining Access MediQuip, he served as Vice President, Pharma Sales and Account Management at Express Script's subsidiary, CuraScript, one of the nation's largest specialty pharmaceutical providers. Jon was also Vice President of Business Development at Priority Healthcare, a leading specialty pharmacy and distribution company acquired by Express Scripts. Jon’s experience includes tenure with Pfizer where his responsibilities included sales, sales management and roles supporting Pfizer's managed care and governmental affairs efforts. Jon served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Central Florida, and an MBA from the University of Florida.
Pat McCaffrey, Executive Vice President, Network Management - Pat McCaffrey has spent more than 23 years in a variety of senior client management, sales and business leadership roles in consulting and outsourcing. He is currently an Executive Vice President at Access MediQuip and leads the team responsible for managing relationships and driving growth through Access’ industry-leading network of health care provider facilities. Prior to joining Access he was the Senior Vice President for Markets at Ingenix Consulting, the largest health care specific consultancy in the United States, and served as a member of the Ingenix senior leadership team. Previous to Ingenix, Pat was a vice president and senior partner at CSC Consulting where he was responsible for both regional growth as well as the consulting practices critical to the delivery of client solutions. He also spent many years in various leadership roles managing sales and large client relationships in EDS’ (now Hewlett Packard Services) health care strategic business unit. Pat has a BS in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, OH.
Brian Dwyer, Executive Vice President, Managed Care Sales - A veteran of the health care industry for over 20 years, Brian has served in positions of increasing responsibility in sales, sales management, business development and account management, primarily leading corporate growth strategies aimed at the health payer market. Brian is responsible for managing the team spearheading Access MediQuip’s growth initiatives aimed at the nation’s leading health insurers. Prior to joining Access MediQuip in September, 2009 Brian spent the previous 11 years at NaviMedix, Inc, the largest provider of real-time administrative, clinical and financial capabilities to the U.S. health system. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development where he led efforts which earned NaviMedix business with the largest payers in the United States, enabling NaviMedix to build a network of over 750,000 providers connected to payers over NaviNet, the company’s multi-payer provider portal platform. Brian holds a bachelor of science degree in biology from Ursinus College.
Eric Pezzi, Executive Vice President, Operations - Eric leads Access MediQuip’s operating organization and is responsible for driving operational excellence through innovation and leadership. Prior to joining Access MediQuip, Eric served as the CIO of CuraScript, a leading provider of specialty pharmaceutical distribution and management services. In addition, Eric has served in a number of other senior management, operational and technology-related positions within the healthcare, manufacturing and services industries. These roles included SVP of Information Technology with Priority Healthcare and management positions with Deloitte & Touche, General Electric, and Wachovia Bank. Eric obtained his B.A. in Economics from Emory University.
Kendra Obrist, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Product Development - Kendra joined Access MediQuip in 2009 to enable company growth through the development of new product offerings and the strategic use of marketing. Kendra has over 20 years of healthcare services experience in marketing and product management serving the hospital, payer and provider markets. She brings an in-depth understanding of the healthcare marketplace to Access MediQuip from her previous experience. Prior to this role, Ms. Obrist was the Chief Marketing Officer at NaviNet (formerly NaviMedix), responsible for the Company’s marketing and product strategy and led the growth of the NaviNet network to over 800,000 providers serving 25 million lives. Prior to NaviNet, Kendra worked at Kinetra LLC where she was responsible for product management and marketing for Kinetra’s suite of connectivity products serving the hospital, payer, physician, laboratory and pharmaceutical markets. Kendra started her career as a healthcare marketing executive for IBM after graduating from Penn State University.
Mike Duvall, CPA, Chief Financial Officer - Mike joined Access MediQuip in July 2005 to oversee all accounting, payroll, tax reporting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities. Prior to joining Access MediQuip, Mike performed a variety of financial and accounting roles in the healthcare, retail, accounts receivable factoring, oil and gas, insurance and public accounting industries. His 25 years of experience includes positions with US West Health Care, Tenneco Oil Company, and Deloitte & Touche. Mike received his MBA and BBA in Business Administration from Morehead State University in Kentucky.
